1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (together with the documents referred to in them) govern your use of the Servicingstop website, related services, and any booking you make with us. By using this website or obtaining a quotation, you confirm that you understand these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
We may update these Terms from time to time, including to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Minor changes may be made at any time, and you should review the Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified in advance. If a change is unacceptable to you, please stop using the website and contact us to cancel any active booking.
2. Definitions
“We”, “us”, “our”, “Servicingstop” means the operator of this website.
“You”, “Customer” means the person obtaining a quotation or placing a booking.
“Garage” means an independent UK garage in the Servicingstop approved network.
“Booking” means an instruction to collect, service, MOT, or repair a vehicle.
3. Use of the website
You may use the website to obtain a quotation and to book a car service, MOT, or related repair. You must not use the website for any unlawful purpose, to submit false vehicle information, or to interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where we reasonably suspect misuse.
4. Quotation and booking
Quotations are based on the manufacturer schedule for the vehicle registration you supply, and on the standard scope of the service tier you select. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless superseded by a revised quotation. A booking becomes binding once we confirm a collection slot in writing (email or in-app).
When you obtain a quotation, we will send a copy to the email address you provide and explain how to book an appointment. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.
5. Vehicle collection and return
Collection and return are free of charge from your nominated home or work address on the agreed service date, between 8am and 10am or another agreed window. Drivers are fully insured Servicingstop personnel. We will not collect a vehicle that is unroadworthy or unsafe to drive.
7. Parts
We use OE (original equipment) or OE-equivalent quality parts to protect your manufacturer warranty. Under EU/UK Block Exemption legislation, independent garages can carry out servicing using such parts without affecting a vehicle's warranty.
8. Payment
Payment is taken on completion of the work via our secure online card payment system, or by BACS where agreed. Your vehicle will be returned once payment has been authorised. We do not charge until the work is signed off and any additional work has been approved by you.
9. 12-month parts & labour warranty
Every booking is covered by a 12-month parts and labour warranty. If anything related to the work performed fails within 12 months from the date of service, contact us and we will rectify it at no further cost, subject to fair wear and tear and to the part not having been damaged by misuse, accident, or third-party intervention. The warranty does not cover air-con regas, where leaks can develop at any time.
10. Best Price Guarantee
All car services and MOTs booked with Servicingstop are protected by our Best Price Guarantee. If you find a like-for-like service or MOT at a lower price from a comparable UK provider within 7 days of your booking confirmation, send us proof and we will match the price. Like-for-like means the same service tier, vehicle, and inclusions (collection, delivery, OE-quality parts, warranty). The guarantee does not apply to time-limited promotional rates, group-buying or voucher offers, or quotations that cannot be independently verified.
11. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel a booking at any time. Any work already carried out at the point of cancellation must be paid for. You may reschedule a booking provided you contact us and agree a new date at least 24 hours before the original collection time.
If we are unable to provide the service on the booked date (e.g. due to garage capacity or driver availability) we will offer the next available slot or a full refund of any deposit paid.
12. Liability
Servicingstop accepts liability for damage caused by our drivers or partner garages while a vehicle is in our care, subject to the limits of our insurance and to the vehicle being declared accurately at booking. We do not accept liability for pre-existing faults disclosed during servicing, or for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of use, loss of earnings, or car-hire fees) save where such loss is required to be paid by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Data protection
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and cookies in accordance with our Cookie Notice.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
